Lou in the UK at Collectormania 17
Lou will appear at this years Collectormania in Milton Keynes. Other guests include Michael Hogan, Laura Vandervoort, Gates McFadden, LeVar Burton, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Jason Watkins, plus more unconfirmed guests. The event starts on Saturday 28th to 30th May 2011.

The King and I at the Starlight Theatre
Lou Diamond Phillips will reprise the role of the King of Siam at the Starlight Theatre for one week only. He pleased critics with his award winning performance back in the 1996 Broadway revival of the show and last played the role in 2006 at the Casa Mañana Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas. The show will run from June 6th.

Cougar Town Guest Appearance
Lou will soon feature in a new episode of Cougar Town as himself. The show starring Courtney Cox, a divorced woman who decides to find some excitement in her dating life, is now on it's second season.
The episode featuring Lou will be screened on May 4th and is titled Lonesome Sundown. Lou will also make a second appearance in an episode entitled Free Fallin' which is due to air on May 18th.

Takedown released on DVD
Lou's latest movie, Takedown (Previously titled Transparency), will be released on DVD on May 17th in America. Lou stars as a security guard who uncovers more than he bargained for after discovering a young Serbian girl stowed in the cab of a truck during a routine security inspection. No word yet on the release of the movie in the UK.

An Officer and a Movie
A new on-going series has been launched on the Military Channel that will begin on April 1st. Lou will host An Officer and a Movie alongside retired and active duty officers who lived through major battles or have an expertise in the conflicts depicted in notable Hollywood films. Each week Lou will interview the officers who comment on the themes and battles portrayed in each film.
Filly Brown Goes into Pre-Production
Production has began on a new movie, Filly Brown, that tells the story of Maria Jose 'Majo' Tonorio, a young Latina musician on the verge of shooting to hip-hop stardom. She finds herself having to choose between the people she loves and her dreams. Lou is cast as a devoted single parent who does an admirable job of being both father and mother to Maria and her younger, more reckless sister. Filly Brown also reunites Lou with his Stand and Deliver co-star Edward James Olmos.
Criminal Behavior & Longmire Await the Greenlight
The two recent pilots that Lou filmed for the Lifetime and the A&E Channel's are awaiting news on whether they will be picked up by the networks for a full season. Lifetime's Criminal Behavior stars Sherry Stringfield (ER) as a San Diego cop who is also the soon-to-divorce mother of two children. Lou features as Lt. Henry Enriquez.
A&E's Longmire is based on the mystery series of novels by Craig Johnson. The project centres on a charismatic, dry-witted Wyoming sheriff (played by Matrix actor Robert Taylor). Lou plays the best friend of the lead character and also stars alongside Katee Sackhoff, Cassidy Freeman, and Bailey Chase.
JANUARY - FEBUARY

Going Evil on Chuck
Lou will appear in the fourth season of Chuck this month. The show follows a computer geek who inadvertently downloaded critical government secrets into his brain. Lou will guest star as the evil baddie Augusto Gaez in the episode titled “Chuck Versus the C.A.T. Squad.”
